Ample Grid Supply | Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Ample Grid Supply. We want to ensure you have the right parts for the job. If a product doesn’t meet your needs, please follow our policy below to ensure a smooth return process.

1. The Essentials (Eligibility)

To qualify for a return, items must be in "Contractor-Ready" resaleable condition:

• Window: Requests must be made within 30 days of receipt.
• Condition: Items must be new, unused, and uninstalled, in original packaging with all manuals and accessories. No markings or labels should be added to the product box.
• Proof: A valid Ample Grid Supply receipt or invoice is required.

Important: For safety and liability reasons, installed or energized electrical products cannot be returned. This includes any items that have been wired, mounted, powered, or modified.

2. Non-Returnable & Final Sale

The following items are considered Final Sale:

• Circuit Breakers & Fuses (due to safety and certification standards).
• Cut-to-Length Wire & Cable (any custom meter/foot cuts).
• Special Orders: Items we do not normally stock or factory-direct shipments.
• Consumables: Opened bulbs, adhesives, chemicals, or activated batteries.

3. How to Start Your Return

1. Request Approval: Email info@amplegridsupply.ca with your order number and the items you wish to return.
2. RMA Issuance: We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.
3. Ship It Back: Do not send items back without an RMA, as unauthorized packages may be refused at our North York warehouse.
4. Cost: Unless we made an error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

4. Damages, Defects & Shortages

• The 48-Hour Rule: Inspect your order immediately. Any damage, shortages, or defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Please provide clear photos of the shipping box, labels, and the damaged product to expedite your claim.
• Resolution: Validated claims will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.

5. Restocking & Shipping Fees

• Restocking: We generally avoid restocking fees. However, a 25%–50% fee may apply if packaging is opened or if the item is a special-order return permitted by the vendor.
• Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order qualified for "Free Shipping," the actual cost of outbound freight will be deducted from your refund.
• Customs: Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable.

6. Refunds & Exchanges

• Refund Process: Once inspected and approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
• Exchanges: For the fastest service, please place a new order for the item you need and return the original item separately.

7. Warranty Claims

If a product fails after installation, it may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Contact us with your proof of purchase, and we will assist you in navigating the manufacturer’s warranty process.
